Slime Girls

Biography

Slime Girls is Pedro Silva, an electronic artist and multi-instrumentalist from a tiny town in northern California. Blending together electronic music concepts and vibes with traditional instruments and pop sensibilities, Slime Girls creates music for a generation of kids who grew up on the internet. Pedro describes the project as, “an eternal love letter to an endless summer; sometimes loud and harsh, sometimes tranquil and digital.” We tend to agree as his songs bring us straight to the beach, or into the back of the family van with Game Boy firmly clenched in hand.

Slime Girls’ One Song at a Time track is Meteor Showers. It’s the first recorded Slime Girls track to feature vocals, expanding the anything goes pallet that Slime Girls has tried to live by. On the song Pedro says, “It is an ode to a childhood adventure, and all the nebulous emotions our young hearts endure. No crying until the end.”
