Luke Ramsey, director/animator of the video for Pill Friend’s “Holy Like You” has been named the city of Victoria’s Artist in Residence. Well done Victoria! Luke is an amazing artist and we are lucky enough to have worked with him not only on the Pill Friends video, but on Kathryn Calder’s video for “When You See My Blood”. He’s also done pieces that have appeared in the New York Times, several city murals, Patagonia, and he did the artwork and packaging designs for the latest Wolf Parade EP, which get extra bonus points for the Conan and Colbert photo ops.
